Inspired by the desire to give her daughter a bedroom set that was fun, bright, bold, and imaginative, Karen Andrea put her graphic design background to work and Room Magic was born. Dissatisfied with the boring, lifeless, and cliched "miniature adult furniture" choices available, Karen looked to create furniture that would bring magic into a child's room, and her whimsical, animated, brightly colored finished birch designs have been so well received that Room Magic received a Pinnacle Award by the AAFD American Association of Furniture Designers. Who says that furniture can't be fun?
