StorkCraft’s Response to Drop Side Crib Recall

Around Thanksgiving 2009, StorkCraft released a response letter about their voluntary recall of 2.1 million StorkCraft Drop Side Cribs. They thanked their loyal customers for believing in the quality of their products and continuing to have confidence in the StorkCraft brand.

StorkCraft also put out a YouTube Video discussing the crib recall in detail and ensuring customers that all of their cribs are JPMA certified and if assembled properly they will remain safe. They discussed the simple Drop Side Replacement Kit that parents can get for free and explained the ease of using this kit to convert the recalled crib’s drop side to a fixed side. The video also provides parents with important general crib safety information.
