How far apart are the crib slats? - The distance between the slats on cribs are regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The regulation is not to exceed 2-3/8" between the slats. All cribs follow the regulations set by the CPSC.<br />2. How high are the corner posts? The front corner posts are 35" high, and the back corner posts are 37.875" high.<br />3.Does this item have adjustable mattress height? Yes, it has four height settings for the mattress support frame.<br />4. just to clarify the natural finish is completely unpainted correct? - The "Natural" finish is a painted finish. It is finished with non-toxic glazing as well.<br />5. How did it rate on U.S and Canadian Safety Standards testing?
