QUESTION: What kind of wood is this crib made out of & does it utilize MDF and/or veneers? by Dorothy P 12/20/2012

ANSWER: I am pretty sure it uses veneers. The crib is sturdy but be warned that the color is not correctly shown on the website. The color has a lot more red tone it looks like more cherry wood than a walnut. by Melissa L 12/31/2012

ANSWER: I have had no problems. Standard matress fits fine. Very pleased with price/quality. As with any crib, a child will chew on the railing. I recommend getting at least a front cover to protect both baby and crib. by E P 3/10/2012

This colour of the crib in this picture is NOT accurate at all - the actual colour is more like a dark cherry colour. No complaints otherwise! Great crib.
