QUESTION: Which brand and size of crib mattress did you end up getting with this crib? I've heard that the regular crib mattress might be too big for this crib. Did you guys had trouble finding a crib mattress that fits? by None N 9/15/2014

ANSWER: Yes. We used one while the mattress was on the highest setting. We recently lowered it and no longer use the skirt. by Martin H 7/3/2013

ANSWER: Yes! On the highest setting it was a bit long so I just pinned it with safety pins all the way around and laid the mattress on top. It wasn't a perfect solution because of the crossbars that hold the mattress up but the skirt had slits in the side so that helped and it laid pretty smoothly. If you provide your email, I can send you a picture if you like because it won't let me link to my blog where I show a pic. Now that he's older and we have the mattress all the way down, I had to remove it. :( but it looked great for awhile! by Lacie P 7/3/2013

ANSWER: each spindle is 2" apart. we love the crib and seems safe, when laying sideways (while we're in the room with baby) his legs can fit in between but poses no risk. by Michael B 3/24/2013

This crib was easy to put together, instructions were fine. Looks great and for the price we paid versus the other modern cribs we were looking at, this one is unbelievable. My wife is happy and therefore I am happy. Great buy.
