ANSWER: We love the crib, too! Our daughter is 17 months old, and it's still perfect for her at the lowest mattress setting. If by canopy you mean the toddler railing, the railing was white (we bought the two-tone bed)--looks just like the crib railing, but It is half the width of the crib railing and half the height to keep your child from rolling out. by L A 3/27/2012

I was a little anxious getting this crib because of some previous reviews of receiving it damaged.
Granted one side rail does have two deep scratches on it, but I'm overall satisfied with the product. It's sturdy, yet movable. Sleek and modern. The drawer pushes in with a little difficulty but I love that we picked this one.
