The subtle Honey Oak finish of this DaVinci Emily Convertible Crib lets the natural beauty of the pine's grain show through, adding to the playful look created by the upturned feet. Sturdy and stable construction contrasts with the cheery design, utilizing solid wood, tough components, and a safe, non-toxic finish.

The low rise of the front rail frees you from awkward drop side mechanisms, creating unobstructed access with no moving parts. The appealing lines of the Emily crib will continue to define your nursery theme even as your child graduates from the nursery. With the included rail kit, you can change the Emily crib into a toddler bed. With an additional rail kit, not included, you can convert the daybed into a full-size bed your child will still be able to use even as a teenager!

QUESTION: Looking to purchase this crib, but didn't see any info on if this crib has adjustable heights. Will someone please let me know if crib can adjust and if so, how easily and if not, how has that impacted the efficiency of it? Thanks! by None N 3/12/2012
ANSWER: It adjust 3 different levels as a crib and I believe lowers even further when it becomes a toddler bed. Really like this crib a lot, no compliants. by B M 4/16/2012
ANSWER: There is 3 different positions. To adjust, you need to remove 4 screws. It is very easy to do. Also, when ready to transition it is about 8 screws. My daughter slept in it until she was about 2 years old. Now my son uses it. I think it is a great bed. by E V 3/24/2012
ANSWER: I purchased this crib in September 2010. I love it and have not had any issues with it. Assembly was a little difficult but no more than any other crib assembly and it has remained completely sturdy and well fit together since. It does have adjustable heights but I was a little surprised that there wasnt a little more variation in them. There are 4 height positions but I believe in this picture it is on the highest one (There may be one a little higher but overall there is not much difference in them and you do have to take the mattress out and unscrew each adjuster (4) to lower or raise the crib. Since there wasnt that much variation we used the highest setting until my son began to pull up and then went straight to the lowest one so we wouldnt have to adjust again later. It hasnt been a problem but it is also our first child and crib so I really dont know what to compare it to. Overall, we have been extremely happy with the crib and no problems. I am excited to see it convert once he is older. by K B 3/24/2012
ANSWER: The mattress level does adjust. I believe it has four levels. We currently have it set on the lowest level. It was not difficult to adjust. It took us less than ten minutes to alter. We've been very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. Hope this helps. by C O 3/23/2012
ANSWER: The height is adjustable for the mattress. My husband did it in just a few minutes. by M O 3/23/2012
QUESTION: does this wood scratch easily? by None N 2/21/2012
ANSWER: yes, but we have cloth teething guards over the front and sides and that does help protect it, especially when you lean over the front of the crib. by B M 2/28/2012
ANSWER: It doesn't seem to, but I've only had it for a month or so and the baby doesn't sleep in it yet. I will say that I'm very impressed with the quality. by Christine S 2/25/2012
ANSWER: Our baby has yet to arrive, but based on what I have seen while putting the furniture together, the potential for it to scratch is there. It isn't real wood, it appears to be coated compressed particle board. Depending on how you respect your furniture and the care you take while putting it together and moving it, you should be alright. I will tell you for the money, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the crib. I felt it will be durable and long lasting. Obviously, as your child grows it will take some wear and tear, and the worst damage will be caused by the baby as they become toddlers and grow with the bed. For the money, it would be something I would see you could replace at a later time as it gets older. I wouldn't look at it as being a lifetime set, but again for the money and the time you will have it, I would recommend it. by Michael J 2/24/2012
ANSWER: Yes it does scratch easily. And once my baby could stand up, he started using it to chew on & all the finish is chewed off. We had to wrap the rails in cloth to prevent him chewing on the wood!<br />However, despite the soft wood - its a wonderful crib, and we love it. by J E 2/22/2012
STAFF ANSWER: No, everything was great until my daughter decided to transform into a beaver around by

4  Very cute crib, August 7, 2013

We bought this crib for our first child due in November. It was packaged very nice and easy to take the peices out. The first thing I noticed was the Honey Oak was a little more Honey (orange) colored then I would have wanted but we'll make it work. The instructions were very easy to understand other then the step for the mattress suppot thing. I was confused one which way the hinges were supposed to hang. I tried looking for a YouTube video but there wasn't one. I believe I did it right. The last part of the assembly took me some time since the mattress support thing kept getting in the way. I'm not a huge fan of barrel nuts. Like someone mentioned before, the wood is soft and can scratch and dent very easily. Overall it's a very sturdy and cute looking crib especially for the price.

We don't have our baby yet, but the bed seems to be very well built and looks very nice. Easy installation and purchased the bed rails for future just incase they are not available by the time we need them.

5  Great Crib for the Price!, February 21, 2012

We have been using this crib for 10 months now. We love it! The color is beautiful and not orangey. It does have soft wood but I've not had an issue with scratches. With many convertible cribs, by the time you get to the full size bed conversion it's in bad shape but this seems to be very good quality so I anticipate using it for many years. Plus, you can't beat the price!

First of all--thank you for a great looking piece of furniture. I applaud the engineer that designed the DaVinci Emily 4 in 1 Convertible Crib. It was very easy to put together. It feels very sturdy. My concern as a grandmother was the depth of the crib. It is great for my 2 year old gran
