STAFF ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. Once your child can climb out of the crib, the toddler should be transitioned into either a toddler or a twin size bed. We received our crib from this website and we are pleased with it so far. The only thing that I can say that I didn't realize beforehand is that the mattress base is composite wood. Had I known that beforehand I would not have purchased it.

This crib was shipped quickly and it was very easy to assemble. It took my husband about twenty minutes. It is the perfect size for us and we are now just waiting for the new little one to arrive!
