The DaVinci Porter 3 Drawer Changer is a piece of furniture your child can enjoy from birth to adulthood. Its elegant design creates an appealing changing station that also doubles as storage space. The beautiful top rails surround a 1" changing pad with safety straps to provide Baby with a very secure changing and dressing area. The three deep drawers can hold diapering supplies, plus anything else your child wants organized throughout the years. This New Zealand Pine changer is finished in a deep, Espresso stain that's not only non-toxic, but also hardy enough to keep the wooden changer looking new for years. As your child grows, he'll be able to open and close the drawers with ease because each drawer is on metal guides with stoppers.

ANSWER: The drawers did not arrive pre assembled but they were very easy to put together. We have enjoyed this item immensely. Our only complaint is that the pad that came with it was not suitable. A replacement is however inexpensive and we ultimately ended up using a folded up beach towel which is better than a pad anyway. by M B 8/26/2012
