The Pali Gardena Forever Crib in Slate will always be the centerpiece for your child's room as it transitions from crib to toddler/daybed and then to full size bed. The Gardena crib is designed with a magnificent arch on the back rail (future headboard) decorated with a large gorgeous floral carving centered in the panel. The front rail (future footboard) has a wide molding with curve to match the arch. Pali Gardena safety design includes safely spaced wide rails and a 3-position mattress platform. The highest platform level is for your comfort in reaching your newborn. The 2nd and 3rd levels are for safety as baby grows and when baby is big enough to crawl out of the crib, the Pali Gardena Forever Crib converts to toddler bed (toddler rail sold separately). The daybed phase is the right time to raise the mattress back up as your child gets bigger. The last transition is the full size bed and the Gardena arched rail is always the focal point of the room. Drawer contents will change throughout the years while the quality of the Gardena dresser never changes. It is built to last for generations and the durability includes solid wood drawers outfitted with English dovetail joinery and solid wood corner blocks. Drawers also have adjustable nylon glides for leveling (applies to units over 30" in height). The height of the Gardena double dresser is ideal for using the top as a changing station and that doubles the value and saves floor space.
